Elonera Montessori Community

Elonera Montessori School is a beautiful community school with families from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures. There are many opportunities for students, families and the wider community to get involved and support our school throughout the year.

Come and join us for the much-loved Twilight Markets, participate in parent workshops to learn more about Montessori education, or share your skills through volunteering.

Throughout the year there are many opportunities to sign up for class observations, participate in orientation sessions, watch showcases, join parent learning sessions or volunteer in your child’s classroom.

These events can be found on the School’s Event page and School Calendar . They are also promoted through the Compass Portal and the Elmonti newsletter that is emailed out to current families.

Share Your Skills

There are many ways to be part of the EMS Community and to support the school. If you have skills in a particular area we would love to hear from you!

In the past, parents and carers have supported us by using their trade skills to help with a project, their sewing skills to help students create meaningful textile items or their cooking skills to help with the Occupations Classes.

Get Involved in School Governance

All Elonera Montessori School parents, guardians, and staff are automatically enrolled as members of Elonera Ltd, the company that governs Elonera Montessori School. Membership grants you the right to vote at the AGM and nominate for the Board of Directors. Being a member is not the same as being a Board Director, and those who are interesting in becoming more involved in school governance through board membership should email the Chairperson at chairperson@ems.nsw.edu.au.
